Bucket List: “Start a Personal Blog”

Writing has always been a passion of mine and I’m beyond excited to share it with you.

I have an ever-evolving bucket list that I started when I was younger. Most of the items are simple things like “Kiss In The Rain” while others are a little more challenging like “Travel To Greece”. I am always adding to this list and find comfort in knowing that I am living my life to the fullest every time I complete a task.

Ever since grade school, I have wanted to start a personal blog and it was added to my bucket list in the 8th grade. I guess at the age of 13 I was expecting this day to come a little sooner but as high school dragged on and I had too much to deal with, I entered college without a blog. When the pandemic hit, I finally had enough time to sit down and gather my thoughts but I still wasn’t mentally ready to launch such a public site that would give a huge glimpse into my life.

It took me a few years to prepare for this day but I finally made it. After nearly 8 years, I can officially cross off a long-awaited item on my bucket list: “Start a Personal Blog”. It may have taken a few years to fully get the site launched and it is nowhere near perfect but I am excited to see the growth in this blog.

After many months of tweaking, here is my (first) logo! Every aspect has lots of thought behind it and it’s my little baby.

I was throwing around lots of blog names and none of them stuck. I wasn’t “vibing” with any of them and was waiting for the perfect one to go with. That’s when I realized that no matter how much writing I do, it won’t be perfect because I will always be evolving (hence the slogan) as a person and writer. No matter what happens, my writing style will change over time and I think a blog is a perfect way to display that publicly.

So, let’s go on this journey together and see where the future takes me because right now, for the first time in a while, I’m excited to “Grow With Sarah Grace”.

XOXO, Sarah Grace
